Not A Big Philanthropist.

One good turn a day could be of great value and recognition.

A hospital in my town collects newspapers and other papers sells them and uses the realization to fund a heart Foundation which helps the poor to receive cardiological treatment,

I had been selling the old newspapers and magazines for say a few hundred rupees monthly. I was not a huge amount but a decent one.

When I heard about the Hospital's requirement, I called them and offered my papers. This has been going on for 5 years now. I am not a big philanthropist. I do not give in millions and billions but few hundreds a month. Seeing me, my son also brings the newspapers from his place which is 500 kilometers from my town each time he comes to visit me.

It is but a simple thought but a very helpful one. The way you offer help is not in kind but in mind. This be one of my ways for

me.
