A Writer Humiliated.

I know a writer  who writes extremely well in English which is not her mother tongue. She has mastered the language perfectly. Her grammar is extraordinarily good, her structure and punctuation are excellent. Yet she  is criticised. They comment on her writing and advice her to write in her own language. They call her sentences are only English words and have no meaning. She is open to criticism. She knows her strength and never stops from writing.

Criticism should be healthy. It.should never hurt. There are ways to point out the defects. No one is above faults. Those who condemn others should first be aware of their own shortcomings. See yourself then remark.

Words turn critical. The context and the timing should be considered. Just talking like that without any basics hurt  and tear the heart.
It is strictly painful. The moment she read the comments she was shaken, depressed  and wounded. She felt humiliated.
It took a few hours for her to gather herself and go with a vengeance. She referred to the laurels she had achieved,  the awards she had been granted and the admiration she has won. Those helped her to come back and now she has resumed her writing. Hope she fares well.
